I sincerely doubt that Glinner is a 'Substack Pro', the Substack management would have to be out of their fucking minds to do so. Having said all that, apparently Substack paid Matthew Yglesias a huge amount ($250k?), he's got 7,000 subscribers and he only gets about 100-200 likes per post.

Offending behavior includes serious attacks on people based on their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability or medical condition. I suppose I should be clear on my own feeling re: Substack, which is that banning Glinner is not a substitute for structural change, and -- to the extent it will be used to whitewash Substack's reputation -- will probably be a barrier to any enduring or deep structural change. It seems that an entire branch of the Green Party has gone on strike over the suspension of Emma Bateman. You can read their letter on Glinner's substack below.

Graham Linehan. I’m a lesbian now! It’s a good thing no-one would ever identify as a woman for nefarious purposes. It just never happens! I’ll let you know if I meet any fellow lesbians, like this cutie! Twenty-five years ago I sat at the hospital bedside of a good friend and held her hand as she recovered from her sex reassignment surgery.

Oct 11, 2020 Glinner very kindly asked me onto this week's edition of 'The Mess We're whole episode, and see what Graham is up to, over at his Substack.

It felt like Glinner was the only guy who stood up for women and lesbians/same-sex attracted women on Twitter (I don’t think he’s on it anymore). He’d say what we were thinking, and the more people argued back with him the deeper he got involved. He started a Substack. At The Glinner Update, Linehan “covers” things like signing up for a lesbian dating app and posting screenshots of users, constantly misgendering trans folks, sharing pre-transition photos of trans women without their consent, and other creepy shit.
